Making I-95 Safer For Motorists

A project to make a stretch of I-95 safer is set to begin tonight. Highway crews will be installing concrete median barriers on I-95 in East Lyme. The installation is taking place at and arounf the location of last years horrific truck accident where a tanker truck crossed into oncoming traffic, killing three people.Crews will work in the overnight hours. The project is expected to take five weeks. Hopefully, this improvment will prevent a similar accident from happening again.
